Getting Started
How do I get access to Reknock?
Reknock is available to organizations with an active account. If your team already uses Reknock, ask your admin to invite you. If you're interested in setting up Reknock for your team, contact us at jake@reknockapp.com.
What devices does Reknock support?
Reknock is available as a mobile app for iPhone. A web dashboard is also available for managers and admins at reknockapp.com.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
Contact your organization admin or email jake@reknockapp.com and we'll help you reset your credentials.
Using the App
How do I add a new contact?
Tap the + button in the app to open the capture screen. Enter the contact's first name, last name, and phone number, then select whether they're a lead or existing customer. Reknock will automatically send a compliant opt-in message and record your location for compliance purposes.
What happens when I capture a new lead?
When you capture a lead, Reknock sends them an opt-in text message on your behalf. Once they respond, the AI generates a personalized follow-up campaign that sends messages over the coming days and weeks to keep them engaged.
How do voice memos work?
After visiting a prospect, tap into their conversation and use the voice memo feature to record your field notes. Reknock transcribes the audio using AI and uses the context to personalize future follow-up messages.
What is Call Prep?
When a contact becomes a hot lead, Reknock generates an AI-powered briefing with their conversation history, campaign activity, and suggested talking points so you're fully prepared before calling them back.
Campaigns & Messaging
How does the AI generate messages?
Reknock uses AI to craft follow-up messages based on your voice memos, the contact's engagement history, and your organization's service type. Messages are scheduled at natural intervals and respect quiet hours and time zones.
Can I edit or approve messages before they're sent?
Yes. Scheduled messages appear in the "on-deck" section of each conversation. You can review, edit, or remove any message before it goes out.
What are quiet hours?
Reknock never sends automated messages before 9 AM or after 8 PM in the contact's local time zone. This is a compliance requirement and ensures a respectful experience for your prospects.
Privacy & Account
How do I delete my account?
Open the app, go to Account (tap your profile), and tap "Delete Account" at the bottom. You'll be asked to confirm twice. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Your organization's contacts and campaigns are preserved.
What data does Reknock collect?
Reknock collects your account information, the contacts you capture, message content, voice memo recordings, and GPS location during lead capture. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
Does Reknock use AI on my data?
Yes. Reknock uses AI (powered by Anthropic) to generate follow-up campaigns, transcribe voice memos, and prepare call briefings. Contact names, notes, and conversation context are processed to deliver these features. Your data is not used to train AI models.
How do contacts opt out of messages?
Any contact can reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reknock automatically processes opt-outs and permanently stops all messaging to that number. This is required by law and cannot be overridden.
